I can connect and load Carplay, but at that point no Headunit buttons work/app/audio, etc. only Volume and the tuner button work. The tuner button scrolls up and down in the carplay app, but that is all.
The touchscreen does not work. I would appreciate some advice and next steps.

Hey David,
We may need to get the DIP switches adjusted on yours. If you have the one like in our video you need the first DIP switch on and all others off. If you have the one with the physical buttons, flip all dipswitches off. Reach out to our support and we can take a look at your factory radio and let you know!
I am having the same issue, no touch screen functionality.
I turned DIP switch 1 on and all others off and was able to get the touch screen functionality. Still having issues with some of the touch buttons in default mode (audio, home, seek, etc.)
