For some of the 2009-2015 Lexus RX models, you need to change the firmware setting for the A/C controls. If your vehicle is not showing the A/C controls correctly, follow the below guide to change your firmware settings.
PLEASE NOTE! Connect your unit to a stable WIFI connection (Either your Phone's Personal Hotspot or Home WIFI).
Once you've connected your Hamilton unit to a stable WIFI connection, navigate back to the "Home" screen. You'll see the following app icons on your "Home" screen - Original, NAVI, Music.... This is the "Home" screen of our Hamilton Lexus units.
- Go to "Settings"
- On the left menu, scroll down and select "Advance Settings"
- Enter admin code "6666" and press "OK"
- On the left menu below the Advance Settings, select "System Version"
- On the right, select "CAN UPGRADE"
- In the pop-up screen, select "OTA"
- Next, select "Online"
- From the list, scroll down and select "CAN_CANBOX-RX270-V107"
- Follow the prompts and select "OK" all the way.
