We launched Hamilton Motor Company in 2014 with a mission to develop and sell only the most premium aftermarket parts for vintage cars. Over our 10 years, in service we began to develop electronic replacement parts for older Mercedes and German cars. Ultimately, our customers called us to newer and newer cars. Today, we maintain our original vintage parts sales but specialize in premium aftermarket electronics for new cars. Our mission remains the same: use specialty technology to improve the cars we love and to treat our customers like we would want to be treated.

We launched Aircraft Climate to revolutionize the available portable air conditioner cooling options for small aircraft.

Before Aircraft Climate, most small aircraft air conditioners were cheap, broke easily and did not perform well. Aircraft Climate takes small aircraft cooling to the next level.

The Story Of

Hamilton

2014 - Hamilton Motor Company is founded.

Hamilton Motor Company started 10 years ago in 2014 as a small business based in Raleigh, NC that bought and sold older Mercedes cars and specialty parts. Our owner discovered repeat issues in nearly every car he purchased. He quickly exited the car business and began to manufacture aftermarket parts for older Mercedes with his German-engineer business partner. Over the years, as the business grew, our customers called us into newer and newer cars. As well, we used our approach to using modern technology to solve long-standing issues to develop new cooling systems for small aircraft. Today we offer specialty aftermarket radios for countless newer vehicles with our same commitment to high quality tech and premium components. Our company has been based on personalized support, an industry-leading warranty, and treating customers the way we would want to be treated from the beginning.

Hamilton Motor Company begins in Raleigh, NC as a small eBay based parts and car sales company called MercedesFix specializing in vintage Mercedes cars and some British cars. The dream of having a website and custom developing parts has just begun.

2016

2016

Hamilton Motor Company, still called MercedesFix at this time launches as a new website with a single part: the newly-developed Mercedes Climate Control Electronic Upgrade kit designed by our owner and his engineer-partner in Stuttgart, Germany.

2017

Hamilton Motor Company begins to grow quickly adding more diverse autoparts and becoming a trusted retailer of all things vintage specialty automotive for Mercedes. Our owner, Dave begins to branch out into other auto and aircraft ideas .

Our owner, Dave, who is also a pilot launches the Aircraft Climate line of portable air conditioners designed in partnership with his German engineer to revolutionize the portable cooling options for small aircraft and un-airconditioned aircraft.

Dave and his engineer continue to innovate with our manufacturing partners to continue the mission of using new technology to develop specialty automotive solutions: now for Apple CarPlay kits.

Hamilton Motor Company has sold Apple Carplay kits on every continent and has had overwhelming feedback from our customers to expand into even more car brands.

American Manufacturing Pushes On

Hamilton Motor Company custom manufactures many parts and also has a few outsourced manufacturing partners. We maintain a production facility in Franklinton, NC where we manufacture Aircraft Climate, as well as numerous other of our electronic components.

We employ talented American labor to manufacture products using premium practices to ensure longevity and durability. At our facility, we custom CNC machine parts, have electronics assembly, and handle our plastic manufacturing processes.
