Customer called in with a 2009-11 RX Mouse that was having strange issues. Panel lights not working, audio not working. He had connected his wire 09SW to the heated seat wire. It is the same size plug. In our 2012-2015 Lexus RX video at about 11:00 minutes even we show how to connect the SW (steering wheel) wires to the wiring harness below your factory steering wheel. The heated seat wire stays in the heated seat module.
This is the same process for the 12-15RX as it is for the 09-11RX (except the 12-15RX would use 12SW and 09-11 would use 09SW).

If you have the 2009-11 RX with Mouse OR the 2009-11 RX with No Mouse/No Knob (Monochromatic screen) you must connect the 09SW below the steering wheel (See our wiring diagram).
If you have the 2012-15 RX Mouse, you must connect 12SW below the steering wheel. If you have the 12-15RX Knob you don't need to connect anything below the steering wheel.
