We had a customer reach out tonight with an issue where they installed our screen on their 2015 RX Knob. The factory screen wouldn't appear when they pressed the original button on our screen. Audio was working fine. The other issue was their backup camera would not appear.
The blue square connector (plugged into the back of the new Hamilton unit) was fitting loosely. This wire is called the LVDS connector and it carries the factory video signal. Sometimes on these RX units (2009-15) the older LVDS cables can fit a bit loosely. If you are having this issue, try manually supporting the wire to confirm this solves your issue then add a bit of tape as a shim. In any case we have seen this issue, this has permanently solved it.
