There are two versions of the 2016-19 Lexus RX Apple Carplay Upgrade Kit depending on your factory screen size. Regardless of your factory screen size, all of our screens are 12.3 inches diagonally. The only difference is the type of wiring harness we send you.
The 2016-2019 Lexus RX Apple Carplay Upgrade kit that we installed in our YouTube video has the factory knob (commonly associated with the factory 8 inch size screen). If your factory screen was 12 inches, you will have a mouse instead of the knob. The installation is almost identical except you need to connect the harness labeled "Only for Mouse" physically under the mouse. We made a manual supplement .pdf to show this. There are two wires on the 2016-2019 Lexus RX mouse version that use the same type of connector: "HU Audio" and "Only for Mouse." The one labeled "HU Audio" connects behind the factory radio and the one labeled "Only for Mouse" connects physcially under the mouse. The RX mouse manual supplement will show you how to access under the mouse.
